Tournament Division
The tournament division men and ladies have completed their final tournaments.
Congratulations are going out to Bonnie McDonald who won the 5th tournament with a score of 2364. This is her seventh win overall. Also Christine Pocza won the 6th tournament with a score of 2104.
On the men’s side Bradley Tytgat won the 5th and 6th tournament. He won with a score of 2341 and 2215. Bradley has won three tournaments this year! This is first year as a Master Bowler.

Ladies singles representative is Christine Pocza of Calgary.
The men’s singles representative is Bradley Tygat of Edmonton.
The ladies team is made up of Bonnie McDonald, Halea Kohel, Shauna Pirie-Laisnez, Dianne Violini and Jennifer Smith. Coaching the ladies will be Geoff Wilson.
The tournament men’s team consists of Dexter Wiseman, Gary Baird, Brad Wilton, Gene Ziebarth and Matt Schultz. The men’s coach will be Harvey Pocza.
Congratulations to everyone and best of luck to all of you heading to the Nationals in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Teaching and Senior Division Results – Provincial Tournament
The Teaching and Senior Division completed their provincial tournaments. The teams have been chosen to attend Nationals. Congratulations to all bowlers!
The Teaching Division had 64 bowlers at Chinook Bowladrome on March 17 and 18. Here are the winners who will represent Alberta in Thunder Bay Ontario.

Casino Volunteers RequiredThe time has come again to ask for volunteers for our next casino being held August 23 & 24, 2018 at The Deerfoot Inn and Casino in Calgary. We have various positions available from Banker, Count Room Supervisor, Cashier, Chip Runner and Count Room Staff. This is a major source of funds that enables us to support YBC programs and assist us with travel to National events. Many of the positions have been filled.
