Tournament Division Results – Tournament #1 & 2
The results of the first two tournaments in the tournament division for the 2018-2019 season are as follows:
Welcome back Jennifer Baker of Edmonton. Jennifer won both tournament #1 and #2. In tournament #1 she rolled a score of 2281 and in the second tournament she rolled 2210. With these two wins she has a total of 11 wins in the Alberta Masters.
Tim Wiseman won the first tournament with a score of 2491. This was his third win.
Bradly Tytgat won the second tournament making this his fourth win. He rolled 2285.

Teaching Division Results – Tournament #1 & #2
The first and second teaching division tournaments are complete.
Tournament #1- September 30, 2018
Congratulations go out to Charlotte Konechny from Sherwood Park on winning in the North Teaching Ladies division with a +235.
Sarah Simmons of Calgary won the South Teaching Ladies tournament with a +297. This is her first win!
On the men’s side, Mat Morin of Edmonton won the Teaching Men’s North division with a +420.
Dennis Arndt of Calgary was a winner in the South division with +372.
Tournament #2 – November 4, 2018
Andrea Marciano from Edmonton bowled a +247 to win the North Teaching Ladies division. Nice!
Donna Stratton from Okotoks won the South Teaching Ladies tournament with a +175. Good job!
Ab Fisher from Marshal, Saskatchewan had +301 and won the Teaching Men’s North division.
Rob Price was a clear winner with a +237 in the Teaching Men’s South division.
Senior Division Results – Tournament #1 & #2
Tournament #1 – September 30, 2018
The Senior’s POA Division was won by Cisco Beyersbergen of Edmonton. Cisco rolled a +117.
Brian Rossetti had his 6th win as a Master with 2062 in the Senior Scratch Division.
Tournament #2 – November 4, 2018
The Senior’s POA Division was won by Arnold Baron of Lloydminister. Arnold rolled a +347.
Wally Bridgett from Sherwood Park bowled a 2007 in the Senior Scratch division.

New Life Time Members
We would like to congratulate the following bowlers on reaching 25 years of membership with the Master Bowlers’ Association of Alberta:

Coaching Upgrade Information
To be eligible to be a National Coach, you must be certified Level II with Competition
Coach upgrade or Competition Coach certified by December 31, 2018.

A Reminder to all to New Bowlers
To be eligible to participate on a National team, you must have taken a Community Sport Initiation Clinic prior to December 31st of the current bowling season. Many clinics have taken place in September and October. Let Brian Sudbury know if you would like to take a clinic so that you could qualify.
Teaching Masters’ Provincial Final
Please note that the finals for the teaching masters will be bowled at Riverside Lanes in Red Deer, March 16 & 17, 2018. The times will be the same.
Testimonials Wanted
We are working on making a poster to promote the benefits of the Master Bowling Association of Alberta. We would like testimonials from members who enjoy our organization and/or who have gone to nationals to advertise on our poster or on our website.
The 2019 Nationals will be held in Gatineau, Quebec from June 29 , 2019 – July 3, 2019. Travel dates are June 28 and return July 4. Opening Ceremonies are June 29.
