Tournament Division

The tournament division men and ladies have completed their final tournaments.
Congratulations are going out to Bonnie McDonald who won the 5th tournament with a score of 2179. This is her eighth win overall. Also Kelsy-Lyn Wilton won the 6th tournament with a score of 2242.  On the men’s side Bradley Tytgat won the 5th tournament with a score of 2537. Dexoer Wiseman was the winner of the 6th with a score of 2263.

Congratulations to the following Tournament Division bowlers who have now qualified for Nationals:
Ladies singles representative is Jennifer Baker of Edmonton.
The Men’s singles representative is after extra bowling, Tim Wiseman of Sherwood.

The ladies team is made up of Kelsy-Lyn Wilton, Bonnie McDonald, Shauna Pirie-Laisnez, Jennifer Smith and Tracy Smith. Coaching the ladies will be Geoff Wilson.
The tournament men’s team consists of Dexter Wiseman, Bradly Tytgat, Adam Weber, Mike Lacoursiere, and Victor Fobert. The men’s coach will be Harvey Pocza.

Congratulations to everyone and best of luck to all of you heading to the Nationals in Gatineau, Quebec.

Teaching and Senior Division Results – Provincial Tournament

The Teaching and Senior Division completed their provincial tournaments. The teams have been chosen to attend Nationals.  Congratulationall bowlers!

The Teaching Division had 46 men at Riverside Bowl and ?? ladies at Leisure Lanes on March 16 and 17.  Here are the winners who will represent Alberta in Gatineau, Quebec:

Nineteen seniors bowled in the Senior Division. They bowled in Calgary at Paradise Lanes and the competition was fierce. The senior scratch division was so close, coming down to the last frame. The following will represent Albertain Gatineau, Quebec:

Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting will be held Sunday, May 26, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the Kerry
Wood Nature Centre in Red Deer. (6300 45 Avenue, Red Deer – 403-346-2010)
If you are planning on attending the AGM and are using your GPS to find it, it will not likely recognize Kerry Wood
Nature Centre. Please use Waskasoo Park as your destination for GPS purposes.
